DEW21 – Corporate Sound
DEW21 is a modern company in the energy service sector based in the Dortmund region. To be equipped for the future energy market, DEW21 decided to start a brand relaunch. The new brand idea „Einfach ehrlich“, „simply honest“ in English, served as the central theme and orientation for all initiated measures. The new corporate sound is an important part of the brand relaunch.
In a workshop DEW21’s brand managers chose a sound for brand strategic reasons that shows DEW21 moving forwards. DEW21’s sound DNA brought about the combination of two sequences. A tercet of three notes that expressed greatness, confidence and strength and a short four note sequence called „Energy“. Electric-synthetic sound elements and the spatial depth of the sound represents DEW21’s future orientation, while warm sounds and harmonic elements make the core of the brand “simply honest” audible.
The brand portal provides all information and rules for DEW21’s brand managers and musicians to be creative and produce sound in applications, such as in radio spots or image films, as functional sounds or at events.
